He'll find something to do, I'm sure. People in that situation of 'left alone but still coming out on top' seem to usually have backup plans.

For example, there was the mention of drinks being tossed about... or chess. Something tells me he'd wind up playing those old guys who always sit around in the park and do nothing else in movies, meaning that they are MASTERS WTF and would provide hours of conversation and suchlike and yes I think I left the train of thought somewhere here.
